The ScotRail ITSO Photo Smartcard is available to you. You can apply for the free smartcard online. Registering it will secure your tickets if your card is lost. You can purchase tickets online to collect at the gates, platform validators or ticket vending machines or buy over the counter or on train.
ScotRail is included in the One Ticket Edinburgh smartzone and STP Zonecard, however, these are not yet able to be loaded and stored on the ScotRail smartcard. The ScotRail Smartcard cannot be used for flexible travel with other train operators.
Any ITSO smartcard can be used to store tickets for travel with this operator.
